Create An Account

To create a new account on My Class Booker, please visit the ‘Plans and Pricing’ page to choose the relevant plan.

Once you’ve decided on the right plan for you, click the ‘Sign Up’ button towards the bottom of the relevant option. If you have a coupon code, please also enter it at this stage.

Complete the required information to register your account;

  • Username: Choose a username (this will be what you use to log into the site)
  • Email Address: Enter the best email address to receive notifications etc
  • Your Site Address: This will be in the format myclassbooker.com/YOURSITE
  • Site Title: Choose an appropriate title for your site.

Click ‘Reserve your site’

If you’ve chosen the free plan:

  • You’ll be taken to a page containing your new account details, which will also have been sent to the email address you provided.

If you’ve chosen a paid plan:

  • Please follow the payment instructions. Payment is accepted by Paypal or Credit/Debit card (via Stripe). Once payment has been submitted, you’ll be taken to a page containing your new account details, which will also have been sent to the email address you provided.

Add An Event

To add a new event to your site, choose ‘Events’ from your top admin toolbar, then ‘Add Event’ from the resulting drop down menu.

Complete the following details to set up your event;

  • Enter Title: Enter the title for your class or event
  • Add Description: Add as much info as you require about the event. You can also include any images and links to external websites.
  • Choose Categories (or add new): Add a category for your event, choose an existing one, or don’t apply one at all – it’s up to you how you want to organise events on your site.
  • Enter Featured Image: Upload the main image for your event listing.
  • Enter Date(s) and Time(s): Add the start and end date, and times, for your event.
  • Enter Recurrence if applicable: If your event is recurring, eg a weekly class every Monday, enter the details.
  • Enter Location: Add the location details, or choose from a location that’s been previously entered.
  • Add Organizer Details: Complete your contact details, including phone number, email address, etc – these are not mandatory, but it is useful for attendees to have a point of contact.

Setup Tickets.

My Class Booker incorporates a powerful ticketing setup.

If you have a free account, you will only see the option to choose ‘RSVP’ tickets.

If you have a paid account, you will also have the option to add paid tickets (Paid accounts can also add ‘RSVP’ tickets if required)

  • Ticket Name: Enter the name of your ticket, such as ‘Early Bird’ or ‘Standard’
  • Ticket Description: Include any short descriptive text specific to this particular ticket type.
  • Start and End Sale: Use these fields if you want to have staged pricing in the lead up to the class or event, e.g. an early bird
  • discount, then a standard ticket.
  • Price: Enter the price for the relevant ticket
  • Stock: Enter the ticket stock if you have limited class or event capacity

Once everything has been entered, scroll back to the top of the page and towards the right will be a ‘Publish’ button. Click this to publish your event.
